So so so you can now get all three of Amanda Panda’s Epitaph for my heart: A survival guide to being social in a neat little bundle. Where to get it? E-mail us at tinypapermail[at]gmail.com or check out our online Etsy store or if you have a zine to trade send it to our P.O. box.
Guess what? Tiny paper hearts wants to trade zines with you and we don’t want to wait till the next zine fair which is months away. Not only that we want to spread the word about your zine all over the interweb. We are going to start cataloguing the zines we receive as a sort of zine database & reference for people out there looking for new reading material.
So send your zines to our new P.O. Box:
Tiny Paper Hearts
P.O. Box 392
Newtown NSW 2042
Be sure to specify which zine you want to trade for, you can find all of our zines here.
Also if you want to be added to the database make sure to include a contact email, phone number or address where their zines can be purchased.
First post by the panda! Ok, so the Kinokuniya zine fair is coming up in two days and we’re photocopying like the wind. Hopefully there should be new zines by both me and the fetus so even if you don’t have a table please come and trade, I had to pull a lot of strings to get the morning off work and we’d love to add your zines to our ever-growing library.
*UPDATE* New zines are go! I’ve got ‘she wasn’t fooling anyone, she was hurt and she was hurt bad’ and the fetus has ‘shy like a punched pie’. If that isn’t an incentive to say hi then I’ll eat my beret.
So it’s located at Kinokuniya books on the corner of George St and Park St (I think) in the city and should be running from 11am to 4pm.
See you there kids!
Signing off, the panda
This Is Not Art is Australia’s premier independent, emerging and experimental arts festival held in Newcastle, Australia. This year again they will be hosting a Zine Fair as part of the National Young Writers’ Festival Zine and Independent Publishing Fair on Sunday 5th October at Civic Park In Newcastle. Check out the website for more information about booking a stall, they have not yet opened registration for this event, so if you are interested you should keep your eyes on the website for updates.
Last year they were really great markets, not only were there zine and comic stalls but also craft ones as well, so if you are into crafts you are still welcome to have a stall.
