Verge & sQuareOne wrap-up

Last week Tiny Paper Hearts attended Verge Twilight Markets & Zine Fair at Sydney uni once again. It was nice night, a tad lacking in zines but still nice and with ample friendly faces. It was also our 1 year anniversary of crafting, so feel free to send us flowers and ginger candy to our P.O. box (seriously).

P.S. panda wants to also say thankyou to all the zinesters and otherwise who came over and swapped or just chatted, in my opinion it made up for the abominable lack of twilight cocktails.

Amanda and I were lucky enough to be part of the sQuareOne art 4 auction held at Mori Gallery on friday where our art was auctioned off. It was very exciting and nerve wracking and a great night all round. There were some amazing artworks up for auction.

Don’t forget This is not art zine fair will be on again this year in Civic Park in Newcastle on Sunday 5th of October and the stalls are FREE for zines makers, so make sure you book a table before they are all booked out.

Have a lovely week my little goos!

This Is Not Art (T.I.N.A)

This Is Not Art is Australia’s premier independent, emerging and experimental arts festival held in Newcastle, Australia. This year again they will be hosting a Zine Fair as part of the National Young Writers’ Festival Zine and Independent Publishing Fair on Sunday 5th October at Civic Park In Newcastle. Check out the website for more information about booking a stall, they have not yet opened registration for this event, so if you are interested you should keep your eyes on the website for updates.

Last year they were really great markets, not only were there zine and comic stalls but also craft ones as well, so if you are into crafts you are still welcome to have a stall.
