Hello DIYers, welcome to a new year of creating. If you were concerned about there being a lack of events to attend, then fear not, as there are already zine fairs and craft markets popping up all over the place.
Get your diary out and write down these details.
Kino Craft Fair
Saturday, 17 January
11am – 4pm
Kinokuniya will be hosting a craft fair this January. Kinokuniya we’ll be also hosting an author event with Amanda Maxwell and illustrator Sarah Larnach who have collaborated on a book called ‘Nobody Told Me There’d Be Days like These.’ Crafty peeps of all types are welcome to book a stall for the event, so zine makers, badge makers, toy sewers etc.
Applying for a stall:
Like last time you will need to be quick to get a spot. Cost of tables is $20. To book one, either e-mail Eileen on marketing-sydney[at]kinokuniya.co.jp or call 8251-4509.
Zine Fair at Hazelhurst Art Gallery
Saturday 7 March
Hazelhurst Foyer
9.30 – 4pm.
This zine fair has been organised by Miss Helen and Hazelhurst, Sutherland Shire’s
Regional Art Gallery. The event will also have a Forum about zine making of all sorts.
